Home Raspberry Pi RKE2 Cluster: My first project was to have something to host all of the future projects I want to work on. What better way than to use the power of Raspberry Pis! I purchased two Raspberry Pi 5s, with the intention of hosting a Kubernetes cluster on them. They both run on Ubuntu Linux. I then installed RKE2 with an ansible script that I created. I chose RKE2 as it is what im most comfortable with. This was the fundamental setup where I intend to deploy the rest of my work.
Once both of my Raspberry Pis had connected to one another to form nodes within the RKE2 cluster, I was good to go to start deploying fundamental infrastructure. These include cert-manager, longhorn, metallb, prometheus and grafana, all deployed using Helm charts. This is a work in progress, and I intend to add more applications in the future.
